It requires cooperation, enormous investment and a strong focus on Green Growth. We are inviting companies, knowledge-based institutions and organisations to join us; let us together use the city to create and develop Green Growth – and let us invite the whole world to see it. We are already offering partnerships in nine specific climate projects, a large number of green events and in the development of new city districts. In addition, we will be offering the city as a laboratory for the development of new solutions. Green growth – join us in Copenhagen”

DONG Energy

“We are building energy solutions for the future. DONG Energy’s long term vision is to provide reliable energy without CO2. To produce more energy with less CO2, we need a change in the energy system. It is a long-term project, but we are well underway with large wind power investments. DONG Energy has many years of experience in developing, constructing and operating offshore wind farms, and we are a market leader. In 2009 we opened one of the world’s largest offshore wind farms, Horns Rev 2, and we have more large offshore wind farms in the pipeline in the United Kingdom and in Denmark”

Vestas Wind Systems

In order to emphasise its position in wind power, Vestas sharpened its profile in 2010. Thisemphasis is expressed by “Wind. It means the world to us.”, which conveys to the world that wind means everything to Vestas because Vestas deals exclusively with wind power, thereby ensuring clean energy for its customers. Vestas believes that wind power is the best supplement to oil, gas and other conventional energy sources currently employed. Vestas aims to ensure that wind power remains at the top of the global energy agenda. This is among other things achieved through dialogue with politicians, public servants, interest groups and NGOs the world over and through advice and information to the public about the potential of wind power, both in individual markets and worldwide. Vestas’ long-term financial priorities reflect its focus on profitability
